To Kindle or Not to Kindle

I hope you all had lovely Valentine’s Days! In spite of all the commercialism and great expectations, any occasion that celebrates love is, as Martha would say, a good thing in my book. And speaking of books… I’ve been considering ordering myself a Kindle. I love the idea of taking this with me everywhere, and being able to buy and download books and newspapers wirelessly. I am worried that I’ll hate reading off a screen- since I love paper so much!

If you have one, do you love it? Is it worth the $399?

   I don’t have one- but I want one too!!! I’m hoping to get one for my birthday, which is coming up. It looks too cool.

   I’ve been wondering and thinking about one myself… like you, I question whether I’ll like reading from a little machine, rather than holding a book or magazine or paper in my hands.
