I discovered Beauty Flash Balm in my early 20’s, when, I’ll admit, I was partying way too much. Never mind the hair of the dog, this is the best cure for a hangover… for your skin, anyway!
It’s described as a “beauty booster which immediately eliminates all signs of fatigue”- and I’m here to tell you it’s true. Beauty Flash Balm is every party animal’s secret weapon. $43 at Clarins.com (and worth every penny!)
I know I’ve featured Laura Mercier here before, but the truth is that her products are just wonderful on my ultra-sensitive skin. Add to that colors that blend flawlessly with my Asian complexion, and subdued but very pretty packaging, and you have a winner.
Today, I want to point you towards her Lip Kisses
lipstick, which I love love love. Not only do they leave your lips looking smooth and silky, they’re SPF 15 to protect them from the sun and environment!
I’m currently in love with the color “Nude Beach”, but am seriously considering getting another shade soon. $20 at Amazon »

I loved the look of Smith’s Rosebud Salve
the very first time I saw it. An “American tradition for more than 100 years”, the salve comes in the most delightfully retro of packages. And then I tried it… and was hooked. Hooked, I tell you.
Its smooth, gives your lips a nice little sheen, and very lightly scented. It just might be the best lip balm I’ve ever used (and I’ve used a lot!), leaving my lips oh so soft and kissable. You can use it on your other “dry spots” (elbows, knees, etc.!) as well. Definitely one of my staples. An 0.8 oz tin of Smith’s Rosebud Salve is $5.75 at SmallFlower.com »
