Rocking Laptop Bags

I love my white Macbook, which allows me to switch between Leopard and Windows XP and is blazingly fast. I’ve been toting it around in a pretty baby bag (it is my baby, after all)- but I’m now on the lookout for a proper laptop bag. Here are some of the top contenders so far:

First up is this gorgeous Mango Tango Turquiose Poly Brocade Laptop Case. I love its Asian-influenced design and how it’s a hard case.

I love the shiny redness of McKlein’s Leather Ladies’ Laptop Case. Its bright color should make it easy for me to spot, but it also comes in Black and Sand.

The Laurex Laptop Bag is made specifically for Macbooks, and I adore its modern graphical design.

I don’t need to make a decision just yet- so tell me which one you like… or if you have any recommendations, please let me know!

iPod Touch Case

Thanks to your comments and suggestions, I’ve more or less decided on getting this case for my husband’s birthday iPod Touch. It’s by Belkin, and much as I love the Pink/Chocolate version, I think hubby with like this Persimmon/Bone color combination.

A Touching Gift

My husband’s birthday is coming up- and I’ve got the perfect present for him: this 32-Gigabyte iPod Touch! It surprises most people to know that he doesn’t have an iPod, a musician like him, and I wanted his first one to be a great one.

Now I just need to find a great case for this. Any suggestions?

iPod Shuffle: $49

Definitely one of the highlights of my day was hearing about the price drop of the iPod Shuffle! Yes, the small and lovely shuffle, which comes in five stylish colors and holds a whole gigabyte of your music, is now just $49 at the Apple Store.

P.S. The MacBook Air is shipping as well (from $1,799).

To Kindle or Not to Kindle

I hope you all had lovely Valentine’s Days! In spite of all the commercialism and great expectations, any occasion that celebrates love is, as Martha would say, a good thing in my book. And speaking of books… I’ve been considering ordering myself a Kindle. I love the idea of taking this with me everywhere, and being able to buy and download books and newspapers wirelessly. I am worried that I’ll hate reading off a screen- since I love paper so much!

If you have one, do you love it? Is it worth the $399?
