I partied a little too hard on New Year’s Eve, lost my voice, and have been in bed for the past few days. Thank god for the husband, who plied me with much tea and sympathy, and- perhaps best of all- has been watching Sex and the City on DVD with me. There’s nothing like watching Carrie and the gang obsess about men to make a girl feel good!

Have you gotten your Christmas Tree yet? This year, we decided to forgo the usual real tree we buy, and get an artificial one. I figure it will last us longer, and I’ll skip all the obsessing about the water in the tree stand as well!
