They consist of a washable, breathable cloth outer pant and a plastic-free refill you can flush, compost or toss. Which means they’re earth-friendly (no landfills required!) and yet are as convenient as disposable diapers.

I love my white Macbook, which allows me to switch between Leopard and Windows XP and is blazingly fast. I’ve been toting it around in a pretty baby bag (it is my baby, after all)- but I’m now on the lookout for a proper laptop bag. Here are some of the top contenders so far:
